Keiwon Tucker of Atlanta, Georgia, was identified as the driver of a red Dodge Ram TRX pickup truck with a window tint violation who died following a fatal crash on May 10, 2024.
According to the information on State Boyzzz, YouTube channel, they were located at a BP gas station on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway at approximately 1053 hours on May 10, 2024. They had observed a red Dodge Ram TRX pickup vehicle with a window tint violation. Dark film material was employed to obscure the front windshield. The vehicle exited 3260 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, which is a Chevron fueling station. It proceeded south on Bolton Road.
They followed the Ram truck as it travelled south and observed the pickup travelling at a high speed. They did not immediately notify Troop C Comm that they were in pursuit, as they were behind the red pickup as it continued to travel around curves. This was due to their previous experiences with drivers who were speeding without cause and unaware. They informed Troop C Comm Centre that they were in an active vehicle pursuit after observing the red Dodge continue to travel at a speedier pace than usual.
Troop C was apprised of their location and vehicle description. They pursued the vehicle and subsequently decelerated as a result of the traffic conditions, which included the sharpness of the road curves and the residential area. They observed a silver SUV that appeared to be deliberately obstructing both lanes of the carriageway as they continued travelling south on Bolton Road. They observed the red Dodge pickup disabled as a result of a severe collision after travelling around the vehicle. They notified the Troop C Comm centre of the collision and instructed them to contact all emergency services.
They observed blood emanating from the driver’s side of the crashed pickup as they approached it. Furthermore, they observed that the driver’s seat had been partially relocated outside of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was still secured in the driver’s position by the seat belt. He was immobile. Corporal Bullock and TFC. Tennant arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and provided assistance in managing the crowd and the accident, as bystanders attempted to enter the crash site. The reason for their inability to provide assistance to the driver was the physical damage to the vehicle and the quantity of blood that had been lost. They had observed blood oozing from his cranium and ear region.
State Boyzzz stated that they notified the Troop C Comm to request the Troop C SCRT. SFC. Moremen, Sgt. Youngblood, and TFC. Phillips from SCRT arrived shortly thereafter. Tennant and them provided assistance to TFC. Phillips assisted in the accident investigation by erecting marker flags in the vicinity of the impact. The driver’s pocketbook was located by Corporal Bullock, who identified him as Keiwon Tucker of Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Tucker’s license information was confirmed as legitimate by GCIC/NCIC, and a warrant for his arrest in Douglas County was issued for shoplifting. Furthermore, they observed a knapsack in the front driver’s floorboard area during a partial vehicle inventory. The bag was retrieved, and it contained a Kel Tec Pistol that lacked a serial number, two small packets of suspected crack cocaine, and a few personal items. TFC.
Phillips concluded his collision investigation, and they contacted the Fulton County medical examiner’s office to request their assistance. The medical examiners arrived at the location and conducted an investigation. Mr. Tucker’s body was recovered by the transportation company for the medical examiner’s office shortly thereafter, and it was transported from the collision site. The vehicle was recovered by S&W. Troop C Communications was advised to contact Douglas County regarding their warrants for Mr. Tucker and informed them of the situation.
