Steve joined the Sawmills Fire-Rescue team in 1973 and dedicated over five decades of service to our organization. His commitment to protecting our community and mentoring future generations of firefighters made him a staple in both the fire service and the lives of those he touched. He was known for his unwavering dedication, leadership, and compassionate spirit, qualities that earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and the community at large.
Steve’s contributions extended far beyond his role as Fire Chief; he was a guiding light and a source of inspiration for many. His presence will be profoundly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
