Daniel Calvin Death, Obituary – A tragic car accident occurred early Saturday morning in Oconee County, South Carolina, leading to the untimely death of a 31-year-old man from Seneca. The victim, identified as Daniel Calvin Eller, was involved in a single-vehicle collision while driving a 2003 Ford Taurus. The incident was reported around 7:03 a.m., when the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) responded to a call from the Oconee Country Club.
The vehicle, traveling southbound on Richland Road near Tosha Drive, veered off the right side of the road, plunged down an embankment, and crashed into a wooden fence. Golf course employees discovered the wreckage and notified authorities, though it is believed that the accident occurred between midnight and 2:00 a.m.
Eller, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Oconee County Coroner, Karl Addis, ruled the death an accident. As of now, the South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash.
