Kehoe was a resident of the region. It has been disclosed that the Devon and Cornwall Police Department has been tasked with the obligation of conducting an investigation into these events.
During a brief hearing that took place on Monday (October 21), the Exeter Coroners’ Court came to the conclusion that the person who had passed away was a juvenile who was twenty years old. The Devon Coroner has confirmed that the HM Coastguard called the police to report that a body was located at East Milford Farm, Hartland, close to Bideford, six days after the fall. The body was found at the location where the collision occurred. The site where the collapse took place was where the body was found. Due to the fact that further information is now being collated, it is anticipated that a full hearing will take place at a date that has not yet been determined.
At this point, the details surrounding the cause of death remain unknown. Multiple helicopters, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), law enforcement, and emergency medical services were all involved in the search that was being conducted, according to the BBC. Search and rescue teams from Devon, Cornwall, and Wales were all helping in the search. Even before the body was found, this search was carried out initially. Reports indicate that it was cancelled on August 24th, prior to any additional information being able to be gathered.
