Cornelius McDonald Obituary, Death; – The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) has confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot outside a restaurant in Largo during the early hours of Saturday.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a report at Jasper’s Restaurant, located at 9640 Lottsford Rd, where they discovered a man who had been shot. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Cornelius McDonald, a resident of Upper Marlboro.
Authorities are actively working to locate and apprehend the suspect who fled the scene following the incident. Investigators are also looking into the possibility of an altercation between the suspect and the victim prior to the shooting. Prince George’s County Council Member Wala Blegay issued a statement regarding the shooting of Cornelius McDonald, who was recognized as a Community Leader in the DMV area.
