The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has identified the victim of a fatal shooting inside a Denny’s restaurant on December 3 as 18-year-old Jeremiah Law from Fort Washington, Maryland. Law was shot multiple times and later died from his injuries, leaving the local community in shock.
Police were called to the Denny’s on Bladensburg Road NE at around 10:49 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Law outside the restaurant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders quickly transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, Law succumbed to his injuries.
