Born in Tullahoma, TN, Ronald Fletcher was the beloved son of Kathy Ann Fletcher May and the late Lannie Fletcher. Raised in a family deeply rooted in faith and tradition, Ronald grew up with a love for the simple, yet profound joys of life. His grandparents, Willie and Lizzy Fletcher, along with Barbara Angus, played pivotal roles in shaping his values and character.
Ronald’s professional journey was marked by his role as a foreman for Jones Bros. Construction, where he dedicated 11 years of his life to building not just structures, but also lasting relationships with colleagues. Known for his strong work ethic and leadership, he earned the respect and admiration of everyone he worked with.
His personal life was equally admirable. A faithful member of Gossburg Community Church, Ronald lived his life as a testament to his belief in God. His gentle demeanor, combined with his unwavering faith, earned him the affectionate nickname “Gentle Giant.”
Beyond his professional and spiritual commitments, Ronald was an avid outdoorsman with a deep love for hunting and fishing. He was widely regarded as one of the best turkey hunters in the region, a skill he honed with dedication and passed on to others with enthusiasm. More than just a hobby, hunting was a way for Ronald to connect with nature, teach valuable lessons, and create lasting memories with his loved ones.
Ronald’s greatest pride and joy were his family. As a devoted father, brother, son, and grandfather, he poured his heart into nurturing and guiding his children and grandchildren. His love and support extended to his nieces and nephews, who fondly remember his guidance, humor, and generosity.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Fletcher May, and stepfather, Dennis May; his sons, Elijah Hunter Fletcher, Caleb Reagan Fletcher, and Justin William Fletcher; and his daughter, Annie Katherine Bush, along with her husband, Colton Bush.
