In the early hours of Sunday, shortly after 12:30 a.m., authorities responded to reports of an injured person in The Annex neighborhood on Madison Avenue, just north of Bloor Street West.
Upon arrival, officers found a man with “severe injuries” and provided immediate first aid. He was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Darapheakdey “Daral” Sovann, a Toronto resident.
