Mark Cosmetis Obituary, Death; – The Boone County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who perished in a condominium fire in Northern Kentucky. The deceased has been identified as 56-year-old Mark Cosmetis, a resident of Florence, as stated by Boone County Coroner Missy Rittenger.
Cosmetis was discovered in the living room of his residence on Langshire Court following the outbreak of the fire on Wednesday, according to the coroner’s report. Florence Fire and EMS were alerted at approximately 1:30 p.m. regarding reports of “heavy fire conditions,” as indicated by the fire department.
The coroner’s office was summoned to the location to conduct an investigation into the deceased individual, now identified as Cosmetis. Furthermore, the department reported that a first responder from the Florence Fire/EMS Department was admitted to the hospital but is currently in stable condition.
The investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing.
