We now know the identity of a man who was shot dead outside of a nightclub over the weekend.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Ricky Marquez, 42. His cause of death was given as a gunshot wound to the chest.
The shooting happened around 1:15 Sunday morning outside the Papi Gallo Cantina near Grosvenor Boulevard and Commercial Avenue.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, two people had been arguing with people inside the nightclub and were shot when they went outside.
Marquez was pronounced dead at the scene and the second victim was transported to the hospital. The suspects fled the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
