After reportedly storming into his ex-girlfriend’s house and shooting her dead early on Monday morning, a 32-year-old man is being charged with several felonies.
On Wednesday, Tony Jackson, Jr. was officially charged with tampering with evidence, aggravated burglary, felony assault, aggravated murder, possession of a weapon while disabled, and aggravated burglary.
Additionally, according to court documents, Jackson turned down the security cameras inside Brown’s house prior to the assault.
Jackson had previously been known to have acted violently against Brown.
According to Ohio prison records, he had previously been incarcerated for kidnapping and violent robbery.
During an armed robbery at the Ohio Loan Company on W. Third Street in August 2019, Jackson and two other men pistol-whipped one employee, fired bullets inside the business, and took over two dozen handguns.
He was later connected to the crime by DNA evidence.
Jackson is presently being jailed on a $3 million bond at the Montgomery County Jail. Next week is when he is expected to appear in court again.
