With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Terry John Griffin, who left us far too soon on the morning of July 24, 2025, at the age of 30. Terry was a loving son, devoted father, loyal brother, hilarious uncle, and unforgettable friend. His death has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will forever be cherished.

    What Happened

Terry’s life was a testament to living boldly and passionately. Born with a fierce spirit and a heart of gold, he embraced every moment with a zest for life that knew no boundaries. Terry’s infectious smile and sense of humor made every room brighter, and he had a unique ability to make those around him feel seen, appreciated, and deeply loved. His personality was larger than life, and his presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

    Who Was Terry John Griffin?

Terry will be remembered for his generosity, contagious laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Above all, he was an exceptional athlete, and his athleticism was matched only by his loyalty and kindness. Terry’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those he loved, especially his greatest pride and most precious gift—his daughter, Lyla. He leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends who cherished him, including his loving partner, Alanna Hatcher, and her son, Carter; his beloved sisters: Colette Fudge (with brother-in-law Dawson Fudge), Jayme Walker (with David Gaudette), Ashley Griffin (with Andrew Linhares), and Jessica Griffin; his nieces Ava and Max; his nephews Austin, Price, and Asher; and many cherished cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his grandparents, Mary and John Norman, Donald and Leone Griffin; and dear friends Bradley Breen, Keith Walsh Jr., and Chris Gosse, Terry is now reunited with those he loved. He was also deeply loved by his aunts, uncles, extended family, and lifelong friends, too many to name, but each held a special place in his heart.

    Legacy and Remembrance

Terry’s legacy lives on in the memories of his family and friends, and in the countless lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and joy for life. His loss is deeply felt, but his spirit continues to inspire those who knew him to live each day with the same love, passion, and boldness that Terry embodied.

    Funeral Service Details

Cremation has taken place, and the family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Sunday, August 3rd from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in Caul’s Chapel.

As his family bids him farewell, they find comfort in knowing that Terry is now flying high with the angels.

“Fly high with the angels, you will be missed.”
