James was a devoted father, grandfather, and community member who embodied warmth, compassion, and humility. He is remembered for his love of storytelling, his jovial spirit, and his ability to form deep bonds with everyone he met. His career spanned multiple professions, from vehicle repair and painting in Colorado to serving as a dedicated member of the McAlester Police Department.
