Terry McKenna was a dedicated mother, spirited traveler, and admired resident of Kingston, Ontario. Born in Toronto on March 10, 1965, Terry spent her early life in Peterborough and Orangeville before settling in Kingston, where she built a life grounded in family, friendship, and generosity. Her early professional years with Bell set the stage for a career marked by reliability and care, but it was her role as a mother to Paige and Ryan that became the most defining chapter of her life.

Those who knew Terry describe her as someone who brought people together effortlessly. Whether chatting with strangers who quickly became friends, visiting her favorite local nursery, or supporting her children in every possible way, she created an environment where warmth and kindness thrived. She possessed a generous nature, often putting others before herself without hesitation.

An adventurous spirit, Terry found fulfillment in global travel, collecting experiences from Africa, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. She inherited her father’s athleticism and remained a passionate supporter of Canadian sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. Her enthusiasm for life’s simple pleasures was unmistakable and contagious.

Terry McKenna will be remembered for her selflessness, love of family, and ability to leave a positive mark on every person she encountered. Her legacy is one of compassion, connection, and enduring presence in the lives of those who were lucky enough to know her.
