    FDNY Paramedic Salih Abdur Rahman Dies After Over Two Decades of Service

    Friends, family, and hundreds of FDNY members gathered Saturday morning to bid farewell to Paramedic Salih Abdur Rahman, who passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, after completing his shift at the FDNY Fire Academy on Randall’s Island. Abdur Rahman devoted more than 20 years of his life to serving the people of New York City, and his loss has left a deep impact on the community.

    A Lifetime of Service:

    Salih Abdur Rahman dedicated over two decades to the FDNY, where he served as a paramedic, helping save countless lives during his long and distinguished career.
