Colerain Township, OH – November 17, 2025 – The Colerain Township community is mourning the tragic loss of 70-year-old Barbara Wooten, who succumbed to her injuries following a head-on collision on Monday evening. The devastating accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Pippin Road, leading to the temporary closure of the roadway while emergency services worked to manage the situation.
The Accident
According to Colerain Township Police spokesperson Helen Tracey-Noren, Barbara Wooten was severely injured in the crash and was immediately transported to Mercy West Hospital. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival at the hospital.
Two other individuals involved in the crash were also taken to the hospital. However, their conditions have not been publicly disclosed at this time.
