According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fatal crash occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. when a semi-truck driven by 45-year-old Rosalba Munoz was traveling east on FM 1296. Munoz approached a stop sign at the intersection but reportedly failed to stop.
