BRISTOL, Tenn. (WCYB) — Authorities have released more details regarding the tragic shooting that occurred on Sunday morning, December 22, 2025, on Lilly Street in Bristol, Tennessee. Police have identified the victims, and the suspect has been apprehended.
Victims Identified
The victims of the shooting have been identified as 20-year-old Deonte Wright and 21-year-old Lexy Coleman. Tragically, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim, 22-year-old Kevin Collin, was also injured in the shooting and remains in the hospital. Suspected Shooter Identified
The suspected shooter, 18-year-old Elijah Khalil Campbell, was quickly identified by police. Campbell later turned himself in to officers in Bristol, Virginia, where he faces multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder. His mugshot has been released to the public.
