Fargo, ND – The Fargo community is in shock after the body of Enosent Noah, a 24-year-old man reported missing on Sunday, was found dead on the morning of Tuesday, December 9, 2025, near Forest River Park in south Fargo. His tragic passing has left family, friends, and the wider community grieving as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

    What Happened

The search for Enosent Noah began on the evening of Monday, December 8, shortly before 10 p.m., when a Cass County Sheriff’s deputy discovered Noah’s car abandoned in the Forest River Park parking lot. The vehicle was soon linked to the Fargo Police Department’s missing person report filed on Sunday for Noah, prompting an urgent search effort.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office officials launched an “extensive search” throughout the night, using resources such as a drone to aid in locating Noah. The search continued into Tuesday morning, and at approximately 9:45 a.m., authorities discovered his body near the park.

    Investigation and Community Reactions

Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner addressed the situation, offering reassurance to the public. “We don’t have any reason to believe right now based on our investigation and what we are seeing at the scene that anyone would be in danger,” Jahner said during a public statement. This remark sought to ease concerns among the local residents, as Forest River Park is a frequented location for both locals and visitors.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of Noah’s death, and further details will be provided as the investigation continues. Authorities from Fargo Police Department, West Fargo Police Department, Southern Valley Fire and Rescue, Valley Water and Rescue, Red River Regional UAS Team, and the Cass County Coroner’s Office all assisted in the search efforts.
