Daniel Esrick Obituary, Death; – The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office has confirmed the identity of the 29-year-old man whose remains were discovered in the Connecticut River near the French King Bridge on November 25. The deceased has been identified as Daniel Esrick, a resident of Northampton.
The DA’s office has stated that there is no suspicion of foul play in this case. Esrick’s body was located on the Gill side of the Connecticut River, adjacent to Route 2.Emergency responders from the Gill and Montague Police departments, the Gill Fire Department, State Police detectives affiliated with the DA’s office, and State Police troopers from the Crime Scene Services Section were dispatched to the scene on Monday. The investigation into Esrick’s death is ongoing, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will ascertain the cause of death.
